Initially, I was taught the basics in sewing by my mother, who is very artistic and creative, and also by a brilliant teacher at school in Mountbellew, Galway.
After honing my craft, I opened my first tailoring shop when I was 23 years old in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary where I worked for 5 years.
I took a break from work to raise my 5 children in Galway.
I re-opened my shop again in Galway in 2012 and I'm delighted to say that I'm back tailoring full-time.
